Perimeter Institute colloquium connecting LHC Higgs boson measurements, baryon asymmetry in the early universe, and experimental searches for dark matter.
Most of the universe is invisible. Yet the things we cannot see are responsible for much of the world we know. An invisible field gives fundamental particles their mass. Mysterious dark matter holds galaxies together. And a tiny imbalance between matter and antimatter may explain why we exist at all.
