On October 25, 2023, the annual Gairdner Science Week Symposium took place in Toronto. Inspired by the work of 2023 Canada Gairdner International Award laureates Drs. Demis Hassabis and John Jumper, this symposium brought together top authorities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to discuss the impact it has had, and will continue to have, on science and health equity, and possible issues it poses.
